Shabbaton Weekend with Rabbi Jeremy Parnes

OJC is excited to welcome back our friend Rabbi Jeremy Parnes from Regina for our November Shabbaton weekend. Rabbi Parnes was one of the three clergy who led OJC’s conversion program a few years ago. The weekend kicks off on Friday, November 17th, with a community potluck Shabbat dinner at 6 pm, followed by a Kabbalat Shabbat service. The Saturday morning service starts at 10 am, followed by a potluck Kiddush luncheon around noon.

The OJC will provide baked fish for the Friday dinner, and we encourage participants to bring a dairy or pareve side dish to share.
