November Shabbaton
November 14 @ 6:00 pm - November 15 @ 10:00 pm

Rabbi Matthew Leibl kicks off the new Shabbaton season! Once a radio sportscaster, he has served as a pulpit rabbi and a popular “free-agent” community rabbi in his hometown of Winnipeg. He now works full-time as a dad and part-time as the spiritual leader of that city’s Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre. Join us for a musical, family-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat, and an engaging and thoughtful Saturday morning Torah service.
After Kiddush luncheon, Rabbi Matthew will get us into the spirit of the season as he regales us with Jewish ghost stories! Please join us for this spooky, fascinating afternoon session.
As a nod to Rabbi Matthew’s sports background, and to diversify our programming, we’re heading out for our social event this month! Join us at Prospera Place to watch the Kelowna Rockets take on the Spokane Chiefs. More info here
