We are delighted to welcome Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze back to the OJC for our May Shabbaton weekend! As both a dedicated lay leader and the Executive Director of Winnipeg’s historic Shaarey Zedek synagogue, Dr. Elbaze brings a wealth of experience cultivated in Israel, Canada, and the French Riviera. A leading expert on the contemporary influence of ancient Jewish wisdom, she always brings a bright and unique perspective to modern Jewish traditions. Join us as Dr. Elbaze takes to the bimah with inspiring and insightful services on Friday night and Saturday morning.

7:00 pm – Family-friendly Shabbat service
SATURDAY, May 10
10:00 am – Shabbat morning service
12:00 (ish) – Potluck Kiddush luncheon (dairy pareve)
1:00 pm – Philosophical Seminar: Join Dr. Elbaze in an intimate discussion about topical issues and how they affect modern Jewry.
