November Shabbaton
November 14 @ 6:00 pm - November 15 @ 10:00 pm

Rabbi Matthew Leibl kicks off the new Shabbaton season! Once a radio sportscaster, he has served as a pulpit rabbi and a popular “free-agent” community rabbi in his hometown of Winnipeg. He now works full-time as a dad and part-time as the spiritual leader of that city’s Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre. Join us for a musical, family-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat, and an engaging and thoughtful Saturday morning Torah service.
Also on Saturday, Rabbi Matthew will hold an education session after lunch for those who want a more in-depth dive into pertinent Jewish topics.
As a nod to Rabbi Matthew’s sports background, and to diversify our programming, we’re heading out for our social event this month! Join us at Prospera Place to watch the Kelowna Rockets take on the Spokane Chiefs. We’re offering special pricing, but tickets are limited. Registration is required.
