October Shabbaton

Let’s welcome Rabbi Matthew Leibl back to the OJC bimah for the for the first Shabbaton of the new year! Rabbi Matthew has served as a pulpit rabbi and a popular “free-agent” community rabbi in his hometown of Winnipeg. He now works full-time as a dad and part-time as the spiritual leader of that city’s Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre. Join us for a musical, family-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat, and an engaging and thoughtful Saturday morning Torah service.
After lunch, Rabbi Matthew will host an intimate discussion session on topics of Jewish interest. The rabbi’s thoughtful perspectives are sure to be enlightening.
