We are delighted to welcome Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze back to the OJC for our June Shabbaton weekend! As both a dedicated lay leader and the Executive Director of Winnipeg’s historic Shaarey Zedek synagogue, Dr. Elbaze brings a wealth of experience cultivated in Israel, Canada, and the French Riviera. A leading expert on the contemporary influence of ancient Jewish wisdom, she always brings a bright and unique perspective to modern Jewish traditions.
Join us as Dr. Elbaze takes to the bimah with inspiring and insightful services on Friday night and Saturday morning.
The weekend activities continue on Sunday with a secular and social Schlep in the Sunshine! Join Dr. Elbaze and other community members on an RDCO-led hike through one of the Okanagan’s most picturesque trails! Learn more, here.
