We’re getting some special visitors to the Okanagan!
Let’s make them feel welcome.
Shinshinim are talented young Israelis who have deferred their army service for one year, and instead travel to another country to serve as unofficial ambassadors for Israel. Based in Vancouver, they’re spending the year working in various communities, schools, and camps across BC, teaching about Israeli culture, Jewish identity, and Jewish celebrations.
Two of these young people, Noa and Nehorai, are coming to visit the Okanagan! Let’s share Jewish life in our region with them through a variety of activities throughout the weekend.
